Aero Consulting Services (ACS) is a Transport Canada approved Design Approval Organization (DAO) with authority to approve design data for avionics, systems structures and interior systems. Composites Innovation Centre
With Manitoba being home to the third largest aerospace industry sector in Canada, the Composites Innovation Centre (CIC) plays an important role as the focal point for the collaborative development of integrated composites solutions to unique aerospace challenges. Acetek is pleased to be part of the dynamic and innovative composites industry sector in Manitoba and a member of the CIC’s composites clustering initiative.
Acetek, the CIC and other major aerospace firms in the Province have collaborated to investigate the commercial merits of Electron Beam cure technology relating to the rapid prototyping of composite lay-up tooling. The CIC and Acetek have also jointly reviewed strategies to address tooling needs of the broader transportation industry sector.
