Management Team

Mr. Chris Saunders (saunders@acsion.com)
As the President and CEO of Acetek Composites, Mr. Saunders brings 20 years of technical, engineering and contract management experience to Acetek’s management team.  After a successful career with Atomic Energy of Canada Limited, Chris co-founded Acetek's parent company, Acsion Industries, and has been its President since inception in 1998.
 
Mr. Ray Cook (rcook@acetek.ca)
As Acetek's Operations Manager, Mr. Cook brings 26 years of aircraft experience to the position, both at Bristol Aerospace and Air Canada. His technical focus has included sheet metal assemblies, compsoite repair, and several team leader and management positions.

Dr. David Walker (walkerd@mts.net):  As Chairman of the Board, Dr. Walker specializes in strategic planning with major public and private sector organizations, through his firm West-Can Consultants Ltd.  His career has included 14 years as a professor of political science at the University of Winnipeg and a member of House of Commons in 1988 and again in 1993 for the riding of Winnipeg North Centre.  Dr. Walker has served as Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Finance, 1993-96, and later in 1996 was the Chief Federal Representative for the federal/provincial/territorial cross-Canada consultants on the Canada Pension Plan.  From 1996-97 he also served as Chair of the House of Commons Industry Committee.  Dr. Walker is currently on the Board of Directors  for the Canadian Pension Plan Investment Board and the Manitoba Theatre Centre. In December of 1998, he was appointed Honorary Consul General for the Republic of Korea.
